With a nice aperitivo – a light drink with some “stuzzichini” to eat, so you don’t drink on an empty stomach. Would be too dangerous in the Italian summer heat…

We would like to introduce you to a classic of Italian aperitivo culture: The Spritz.

Here are 2 versions of Spritz

Aperol Spritz
3 ounces of Prosecco
2 ounces of Aperol
1 ounce of soda
Campari Spritz
2 ounces Prosecco
2 ounces Campari
1 ounce club soda

Crema di tonnoAnd as we recommend not to drink on an empty stomach here are some ideas for finger food (stuzzichini) to go with it: Just toast a few slices of bread and spread some Pesto Trapanese, Italian Tuna fish cream with orange or Italian dried tomato on top. And you are ready to enjoy your aperitivo !
