Friday tradition: Pasta e Vongole (Clams)

Friday is Vongole Day.
At our home we have a tradition: On the Friday market we buy vongole (clams) and make this simple, but delicious dish. Also our neighbor drops by or brings somebody along.
And every attempt to cook something more elaborate, original has been blocked so far. “Why don`t you just make pasta and vongole ? It`s Friday. ”
So tonight we will have Pasta and Clams again: Olive oil, a little bit of peperoncino, some garlic for those who like it, clams, white wine and finely chopped parsley at the end. That`s it. But we all look forward to it.
