Now the Fashion company Fendi has finished the first phase of restoring the famous Trevi fountain in Rome.

Now this beautyfull piece of Italy can be visited again.

More and more fashion companies are restoring important pieces of the Italian heritage: The shoe maker Tod’s restores the Colosseum in Rome. The luxury cashmere maker Brunello Cucinelli invested in the Arco Etrusco in Perugia in Umbria. And Fendi opted for the Trevi Fountain in Rome.

Of course there is a return for the image of the companies. But hey, why not ? In times of austerity and empty pockets of the state private investors are more than welcome !
